BUDDING BEGINNERS (ages 4 1/2 –5) 1 hour
An introduction to representational drawing created for the attention span and motor coordination of the 4 & 5 year olds. Children master the ability to recognize and combine the elements of shape in drawing animals, characters, still life and more.
ART EXPLORATION (ages 6-8) 1 hour
A representational drawing class set in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. It begins with learning the basics and easily moves on to intermediate projects. Students will draw from 3 dimensional objects, photographs, illustrations and their imaginations.
MIXED MEDIA (9-adult) 1 1/2 hours
An introduction to a wide variety of drawing styles and media. Projects explore plants and animals, architectural structures, perspective, and proportion. Students are encouraged to develop their own personal style. Media: Markers, colored pencils, graphite, watercolors, conte and pastels.
HOMESCHOOLERS
This class is for you! Receive all the above, but choose an earlier hour for your convenience. Children will also learn about artists in history and use their work for inspiration. Call the studio for information. 408-779-7871
